Beate Antares
Team Captain

Beate Antares hails from an artistically creative family that left their homeland Poland to join the Norwegian circus “Viola” where they were free to explore their creativity. Beate’s natural artistic abilities were fostered in Germany’s acclaimed Dortmund Music Conservatory where she discovered another love in studying the Violin. Beate also continued to flourish at the prestigious British Academy of Dance, performing in her first professional Ballet production at the tender age of twelve.

She emerged from Europe as a young teenager well prepared to make the crossover to the US where she later ignited her passion for Film and Theater by attending Loyola Marymount University. Currently, Beate is working as Production manager at Mogreet while independently directing and producing other projects. She recently finished producing and editing a documentary explores the unseen culture and life in Cuba entitled “Cuba es Cuba”. She has last been seen in Pranskters and The Big Bounce, and at the moment is set to direct upcoming feature “Feather”.

However, her main passion is still playing and managing the H.U.G.S team, and studying Kung Fu with the Shaolin Monks of Chinatown. You gotta love the circus.

This gave her the confidence and determination to pursue acting professionally. Since then she has been building her resume through independent films within the San Francicso and San Jose Bay area, along with photo shoots, fashion shows, and industrials. After managing a real estate office for two years and working on projects, it was time for her to move to Los Angeles. A true chameleon, she still has so much more to look forward to. With goals of being successful in the biz, it's not only acting and dance that she's pursuing, she has plans on writing, directing, producing...already working hard on several projects that are kept hush-hush at the moment. Not to mention besides playing soccer with the HUGS now, she has other goals…fashion line, charity organizations, a new voice in the government, etc...Monej is a part of the new wave...just you see!
